BoMToons responds:

Still no sound, but gameplay bugs have been fixed. Come back and check it out again!

heh

i think i woke everyone in my house. but cool. nice to have a game that goes with your animations.

JPI responds:

"nice to have a game that goes with your animations." I'm not Chris Nosal/CaptainBlue, but i am honoured that you think so.

Yeah, i'm glad the music woke up your people in your house. They should've been up partying :P

not bad

reminds me of an old game called "Hemi-Roids"

Nemo responds:

That is an interesting game name. Thanks for reviewing!

fun

ive always liked these kind of shooters. But i didnt think they were called side-scrollers... ?? thanks for makin a game for us.

Go0gley responds:

Side scrollers are used for arcades where the game is tilted 90 degrees that makes it horizontal. But the arcades are also tilted at 90 degrees so it's still vertical-scrolling. Thanks for liking it! ^_^

whoa

holy shit that last guy was dumb. This game was fucking beautiful. Your ability to action script is astounding. I applaud you. And i vote five. good job.

iragination responds:

I'm glad when people note how difficult to make is this stuff. I'm glad to have achieved this quality :)

close but no cigar

this game had potential, what with the three modes of play and large quantity of characters... But, sadly, it didn't quite reach it. The game was just way too easy, sitting there, hitting the same button over and over again. There was basicaly no need for the defend button since you never know when the guy is going to attack and when he does, it's too late - the attack is over and you've lost hp. And if you try to defend early, your guy will just jump back into fighting position. You need to make it so you can stay in defense mode as long as you hold down the button instend of "dodging" as you put it. Also, there were too few controls and I found it quite boring sitting there with pico shooting nonstop. Also, most of the special attacks were jokes, no blow-you-away visuals and no massive damage, just a slow attack... I know this is a lot to ask, but next time, make controls where you can move around in the environment and jump and kick and throw. Whatever, this game is still good.

raitendo responds:

you have many valid points, although I have one reservation: you CAN keep the defense button pressed down, so even if the character seems to dodge, he will actually be safe all the time. as for the rest, I agree completely, and all games that I'm currently working on are games where you can move around (although only one is a fighter). cheers
(btw, you accidentally wrote the review for the prequel to PFII instead of PFII, which must obviously be the game your review is concerning)
